Target description
ASF1a (UniProt/Swiss-Prot entry Q9Y294) belongs to the family of histone chaperones and interacts with bioth histones H3 and H4. It’s a key component for nucleosome assembly and disassembly and promotes both replication-dependent chromatin assembly and with HIRA to promote replication-independent chromatin assembly.
