Protease Inhibitor Mix (P.I.)
This protease inhibitor Mix (P.I.) has been extensively validated in chromatin immunoprecipitation assays (ChIP). It contains inhibitors with a broad specificity for serine, cysteine, and acid proteases, and aminopeptidase.
The protease inhibitor mix is recommended during chroamtin shearing and ChIP incubation.
Characteristics
Format
Supplied as a tablet. After dissolving the tablet in water to obtain a 25x stock solution.
Storage
The tablet is stable at -20°C for at least 2 years. The stock solution is stable at -20°C for at least 4 months. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
